Jiangsu Yuekang Biotechnology Co., Ltd. was founded by Dr. Zhao Yongjun, a distinguished scientist and overseas Chinese in the UK. The company specializes in the research, development, and sales of next-generation Omega-3 products. It is located in the historic and cultural city of Suzhou, Jiangsu, with production bases in Zibo, Shandong, and Kunshan.

Dr. Zhao has held positions as a Ph.D. at the Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, a postdoctoral researcher at Imperial College London, and a senior scientist at GE-healthcare. Since starting his business in 2011, Dr. Zhao has become a globally renowned expert in the Omega-3 industry. He has led the establishment of a top-five global and exclusive domestic supply of high-purity pharmaceutical-grade and export-grade fish oil raw materials (with EPA/DHA content >98%). He invented a series of novel formulation technologies with complete independent intellectual property rights, overcoming multiple bottleneck challenges.
